Christian Books and Music World is the brainchild of the elder of two brothers Obeth, who got trained in Bookstore Management in Switzerland in the Geneva Bible Society (La Maison de la Bible).
Obeth, a French-German Lecturer in Colleges and Schools, was invited to Switzerland to help Geneva Bible Society to help manage one of their bookstores in Lausanne as he had good knowledge of Christian books / music and is also fluent in French.
After his tenure in Geneva, Obeth decided to come back to India and launch Christian Books and Music World in Chennai India.
Having inherited a great deal of knowledge of Christian Bookstore from his parents J R Jayabalan and Saroja (who themselves were managers of a Christian Bookstore for over 25 years), Obeth founded Christian Books and Music World. |

www.cbmwonline.org is the brainchild of the younger brother Eshcol who is a Software Engineer by profession. Eshcol used his computer skills to build the online version of Christian Books and Music World with a vision to span the Literature ministry started by his brother beyond the boundaries of the city of Chennai.

Bibles and accessories:
We stock a wide collection of imported Bibles, Bible-Study Help materials, Bible Covers and other accessories. We sell Bibles in Indian and Foreign Languages.

Books:
Our inventory of books include Books for personal edification, educational purpose, study journals, music folios and daily devotionals. Much of our English books are Indian versions of foreign publicatons. We house a great deal of books in Indian and Foreign Languages. |

Music:
We have a great collection of Music albums in English, Indian and Foreign languages. We sell solo trax (accompaniment trax) and music accessories too. |
